Annabelle is old enough to begin potty training. We have gotten her her own little toilet and using a reward system to toilet train her. This is a big step, she is such a big girl!  Just like anyone with there first child I searched the internet for help. This article specifically helped me.

Recently Annabelle has not been hungry at the dinner table. We have decided that she is filling up on juice before dinner and not eating. Juice is full of sugar, she is now only to have 2 cups of juice a day. We also let her have some say in what we have for dinner. The decision gets her excited to eat, it also shows her how to make healthy eating choices.

We have been very diligent about installing good habits for Annabelle. Every morning and evening the whole family will brush our teeth together. This is important so that Annabelle begins good dental hygiene young. 

Hey guys, yesterday Annabelle was not feeling well. She was crying and had a fever. We took her to the doctor and it turns out she has an ear infection. These are very common for toddlers, she was prescribed antibiotics and she is already feeling better.

Annabelle is non stop growing, she is always hungry so we make sure we have healthy snacks on hand for her. Her favorite is Cheerios!

Weird Cravings

Hey guys!!! Being pregnant is so weird and all I want to do is eat and sleep. I have recently become addicted to pickles which I used to HATE, but now I cannot get enough of them. I just had Jimmy run out to the store to grab more lol he’s the best hubby!

Third trimester- Homestretch!!

6 months already!!!

Hey bloggers omg I cannot believe it has already been 6 months!! We just started introducing solid foods and she seems to love the cereal! We first made it a pasty consistency, but now she just picks it up with her hands!! SO CUTE<33

Growing up so fast!

Hi Annabelle is already 9 months old and is getting so big!! She is crawling around constantly and keeps trying to stand up and walk around!! We have started playing a new game of hiding her teddy bear and she is loving it!!!!

1 YEARS OLD

Today is Annabelle’s first birthday and she said her first word a couple days ago (ma-ma of course)!! And she is also now walking!!!! Where has the time gone?????

18 months!!

Sorry guys I haven’t posted in forever, but I have been loving spending time with Annabelle!!! I definitely want to get back to work since I miss helping people so much!!! So, I think Jimmy and I need to start researching some daycare facilities! Wish us luck with the process!! 

OMG! Just got accepted into Duquesne University! My DREAM school! Can’t wait to become a nurse! #woohoo 🙂 

Ugh….. mad blog post today. Mom thinks I have gained “a few pounds” and that I really should start working out more before college in a few months. Trying to work out but it’s not working!! 😡I keep gaining weight. Might start eating less. LOL. 😂 

I FIXED IT 

You guys won’t believe what has happened. I actually started eating less portions like all the time and I am down 10 pounds! WOW! I think I might have cracked the code for weight loss!!!

My Problem

Sorry for my absence, I have been helping myself to get back to a healthy weight. I took my so-called ‘resolution’ of not eating to an extreme and had to get help. I got down to 65 lbs. No worries though, I am back and better than ever!! And very healthy 🙂

SENIOR YEAR IS ALMOST OVER

OMG! I cannot believe that senior year is almost over 😦 It’s already April…only 2 months until graduation. 🎓 I AM NOT READY GONNA MISS MY HUNIES 

JIMMY GOT INTO COLLGE 

Guys. Jimmy got into UCLA. I mean, yeah I am happy but I am going to PITTSBURGH!! He can’t stay here 😦 I will miss him too much. Ugh, seeing him tonight. Gonna talk to him and try to be as happy as I can 😢 

POSITIVE IS- Sun is getting stronger since it’s getting closer to summer so I am getting my tan BACK! 

UPDATE ON TANNING : I AM SAD

IDK if you guys know, but my mom is a dermatologist. She is mad at me for tanning so much and says I need to back off on the tanning or I will seriouslllyyy damage my skin. Also I could get skin cancer. UGH. I JUST WANT THE SUN 🌞

My Talk With Jimmy 

Soooo talked to Jimmy the other day. Have been to sad to blog about it. Long story short, we fought about it. I tried to be happy for him but got too upset I don’t want him leaving:( I luv him too muchhhhh.💔

Bad Decisions 

update: I am not myself anymore….making some bad decisions here. I SMOKED LAST NIGHT! I do not do that. I am so terrified that my Dean will find out 😨 I have to get my stuff together.

Soo I got caught. My worst fear. Had people over drinking in my room and my RA found us. Have to pay a fine and do community service to stay in the nursing school. 

Realized that these first months of college I thought I could get away with whatever I wanted. I was VERY wrong. There are consequences for my actions and I am learning this the hard way. lol. If you are a younger kid reading this, do not be stupid like I was and take a risk at your future. I am now on the path to being clean of drugs (smoking) and drinking…. my nursing degree is way more important. 

Jimmy!! UPDATE

Jimmy and I have talked a bit since we both went to college… I am def more confident in myself and who I am so not feeling super lonely or like I need him in my life… our conversations are good so hopefully things may spark up again soon 🙂

We TALKED AND IT WENT WELL!! He’s coming here for a few days next week on his break! Can’t wait to see him… turns out he felt the same way I did and misses me as well! 

We agreed to both take more responsibility for our actions and keep a more open and honest relationship than we had last time (because of distance it is going to be harder) We both promised this to each other and understand how crucial it is to remain faithful about it. 💖

MAJOR UPDATE 

WOW! It’s been 3 years since I last blogged. SORRY! I got caught up in my school work and in making things work with Jimmy. We have really been doing well so that makes me happy…. I think he’s the oneeeeeee 🙂 Graduation is coming up so soon! only 2 weeks away. Finishing up my appointments with my patients I was assigned for my final clinical work. Crazy I am actually going to be A NURSE! Almost time for my NCLEX also…. gotta hit the books.

Finally chose my wonderful bridesmaids!!! All my besties from college 🙂 could not be happier!! Going overall pretty smooth for the most part! ALSO here’s my cake! we had a sample one made to really make sure that we liked it:) 

Trouble In Paradise 

Jimmy and I have not met eye to eye on the budget of the wedding so there is some arguing going on in our household. Money is tight and we are trying to decide on who will be the stay at home parent and who will work one we decide to have children. 

On top of all that, Jimmy’s parents are now getting a divorce. GREAT. right before the wedding. Jimmy is so sad 😦 I feel terrible trying to cheer him up but now rumor has it his dad might be moving in with us since the house is in his mothers name. Love starting off my marriage with my father-in-law living right above me.

Jimmy’s Job

More recently, Jimmy got let go from his job. So money is even tighter than it was before. I am picking up extra shifts at hospital but doesn’t seem to make Jimmy any happier. His brother, Tom, is a very successful lawyer in NYC.  Jimmy is having a hard time pleasing his parents with what he is doing and losing your job certainly does not help. Jimmy is suffering fro achievement-oriented stress.

The job hunt is going alright, Jimmy is working himself into the ground trying to find something that will make him happy. I keep telling him how great some of the offers are he is receiving, but he keeps saying how “it’s not better than Tom, I need to be better than Tom” 🤷 He hasn’t been sleeping great or eating much at all. I am worried about him!

It’s been a while!

Junior Year!!

I can’t wait to be done with my junior year of high school. It has been very stressful with focusing on my school work, lacrosse and taking my SATs. Summer needs to come faster!!

Senior Year!!

SENIOR YEAR IS FINALLY HERE!!! School starts tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited. Me and my best friend made up and she actually gave the boy Jimmy my number and now we are texting. I can already tell this year is going to be a good one. AHHHHHH!

Sleep Deprived. 

I have not been sleeping a lot lately. I have been so busy with lacrosse, applying to colleges and hanging out with Jimmy. I’ve been falling asleep in class and its being a problem…
